Jolene Grothe, APRN, CDCES, has been a part of Wichita Diabetes & Endocrinology since its inception. She started her carrier as a registered nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator, she worked in several hospitals and clinics in Kansas and Texas. In 2009 she graduated as Nurse Practitioner from Wichita State University, and has been Practicing endocrinology since.
Jolene has special interest in Diabetes, type 1, type 2, pregnancy Technology – Continuous glucose sensors, insulin pumps and hybrid closed loop pump/CGM systems and she enjoys partnering with patients in the medical decision process, and empowering them by providing education and assisting them to set and attain goals for improved health.
At the personal level Jolene and her husband are native to Kansas. she enjoys yoga and riding her bicycle in the neighborhood or on the trails in Wichita. she loves spending time in the garden, wine tasting, reading nonfiction and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
