Dr Elhomsy is a Board-Certified Endocrinologist, he earned his medical degree from the Lebanese University, in 2006. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Kansas University School of Medicine Wichita in 2011 and in 2013 he completed his fellowship in Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism at Saint Louis University in Missouri.
In 2013 he came back to Wichita and joined KU-Endocrinology. In 2018 he founded Wichita Diabetes and Endocrinology. Dr Elhomsy is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at KUMC-Wichita and serves at Robert J Dole VA medical Center as an intermittent Endocrinologist.
Dr Elhomsy is a fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and a fellow of the American college of physicians, and holds an Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound. He practices general endocrinology with focus on thyroid disease including thyroid cancer and pituitary disease.
At the personal level Dr Elhomsy is married and has 3 children, he enjoys reading, gardening and cooking.
